The Puritan Sexual Ethic

I'm reading William Gouge's Of Domestic Duty again. Since I have the work in electronic copy, I thought some of you might enjoy reading what a puritan said about these matters. The work was published in 1622. I first used material from the book about five years ago when asked to teach a course entitled Sex, Marriage and Family in Historical Perspective. Gouge may be the first writer to represent his views as complementarian.
